We have successfully installed, tested and energized a 200.1 KWp rooftop mounting Solar PV Hybrid Microgrid System at the UNAMI Compound, located in Kirkuk Regional Office, Iraq. This advanced system features a 100 KW PV inverter in a three-phase configuration, a 204.6 KWh Battery Energy Storage System, and a 100 KW Power Conversion system. The system comprises 348 JINKO SOLAR PV modules (Tiger Neo N type Mono-crystalline 72HL4-(V) 575 Watt), securely mounted on a galvanized steel structure with precast concrete block footings. Key components of this installation include: • On-Grid PV Inverter: Four (4) 50KW-1000 VDC three-phase on-grid string inverters, • Energy Storage System: LFP Lithium-Ion Energy Storage System PowerCube-M2A-180 Up to 1000VDC, 204.6KWh (102.3kWh Capacity/ Rack * 2 battery rack, total 204.6KWh capacity battery bank including BMU, BMS, HMI, battery combiner panel with fuses, battery cables and all accessories and fittings), • Power Conversion System: Three-Phase Energy Storage Converter (Isolated Type) BCS100K-A; Max. DC input voltage 1000V, DC voltage range (500V Dc to 900VDc), Rated AC output power 100KW, Rated output voltage 400V AC, Max. output current 159A, including HMI. • Energy Management System (EMS), Control & SCADA System: Responsible for monitoring, controlling, and managing power distribution across multiple energy storage units, • PV DC Combiner Box: 20 units of DC1500V 1in/1out, with a protection rating of IP65. The installation also encompassed the Control and Power Room, equipped with an HVAC system, Power Distribution Board, and a complete set of cables (AC, DC, Earth, and Communication), along with all necessary accessories to ensure robust connectivity and safety. Furthermore, the project included the construction of grounding and lightning protection systems.
